The Evah C. Cray Museum

Earlier this week I spent the morning in Atchison, Ks. While their, I took a tour of a 130 year old, 25 room mansion. It's called the Evah C. Cray historical home museum. When they decided on the plot it was already occupied with a cemetery. They had all the bodies relocated... And so, there are stories of haunting's. It had all the original Chandeliers, five ornately decorated fireplaces, Stain glass, and a complete Humpty Dumpty toy circus set (one of two known remaining sets in the U.S.) Here are some of the photos I took.

Paper Tapestries

I was just spending some time online when I Stumbled upon Tomoko Shioyasu's beautiful works. These nature inspired paper tapestries are tediously cut and burned all by hand! And they are So Pretty!

Took a long overdue trip to the Christopher Henry Gallery in Soho to check out the Olek exhibit. So amazingly colorful and clever! All of the messages she knit are from text messages she has recieved and every object/surface in the room was covered in vibrant crochet work. Check it out if you can!
