Corroded Vegas

We spent last weekend combing through the 'old downtown' and current arts district of Las Vegas. It was a dense gold mine of  sweet nectar, by that I mean: bedazzled shoes, ample sequined stage wear and over the top retro fabric.
We happened upon a store with 2o,ooo sq. ft. of clothing, furniture and accessories (my favorite was a bronze paper weight of two elephants mounting). We discovered an impressive collection of antique cuckoo clocks. And we met a man who collects vintage upholstery fabric and dispenses  eccentric and beautiful furniture.
